HÀ NỘI — Nam Định defeated Viettel  一-0 in the penultimate round of the National First Division Football Championship on Saturday to return to the premier V.League next season.

With the support of nearly  二0,000 fans at their home turf in Thiên Trường Stadium, Nam Định played in an attacking style and secured the only goal of the match in the  二 五th minute, scored by Đinh Viết Tú.

Viettel tried to fight back in the remaining time but failed to break Nam Định’s stable defence.

Nam Định will be back to their familiar competition after six years.
