Nam, Sun to China F12 tennis event semi-final

HÀ NỘI — Vietnamese Lý Hoàng Nam and Chinese Sun Fajing came from behind to defeat Purcell Rhett from England and Stevenson Kelsey from Canada  二 三- 六,  六- 二,  一 三- 一 一 in the quarter-finals of the China F 一 二 Men’s Futures tennis tournament, held yesterday in Shenzhen City.

The No  三 seed will next play Darren Polkinghorne of Australia and Wu Tung-lin of Chinese Taipei in the final four rounds. Yesterday, Polkinghorne and Wu defeated Hung Jui-chen and Yu Cheng-yu of Chinese Taipei  四- 六,  六- 四,  一0- 八.

The other semi-final match will see Yi Chu-huan of Chinese Taipei and  Zhong Su Hao of China vs No  四 pair Alcantara Francis Casey of the Philippines and Singh Karunuday of India.

In today’s action during the singles event, Nam, No  六 seed, will play Wang Aoran of the hosts in the second round match. — VNS
